Today is the United Nations International Day of the Child. This is how Israel ensures it is celebrated in Gaza. (Warning: some graphic content)

Running for their lives

or not knowing which way to turn

unless lucky enough to be rescued

While some are thankfully oblivious to their surroundings

others are not so fortunate

their fear and pain manifest.

This boy did not make it out alive,

nor did these siblings

or this baby.
